Motion Graphics

I have been working with 3D related media and techniques for four years that I've wanted to implemented that kind of style in the matters of 2D animation. Soon I developed a skill where I can make any artwork into a fluid animation.  I use Photoshop to cut up the art in pieces to determined which part needed to move and put it all together with After Effects.

I always admired the fantastic art coming from Japanese mobile games and I always see the potential it can have if it can move. This particular artwork is from the Disney Aniplex mobile game called Twisted Wonderland with the character, Jamil Viper. â€‹

While experimenting and practicing with this technique, I have been using official arts from their respective games as well as using artwork from my fellow artists friends. This is so I can challenge myself to use assets from other artists other than myself to improve my skills of working in a team.

A few more examples from the Twisted Wonderland game.

This is art made by seeyeon.art made for one of his game menu and was freely given to me to animate.

3D incorporated into the 2D motion graphics

The art is from another mobile game called Ensemble Stars and this is where I try incorporated 3D elements into the motion. The 3D models are all made in Maya,

This is from an animated video telling the story of my little sister's experience with sleep paralysis. She was at a young age when this happened and so I wanted to mimic the same animation style of children's TV show, in this case i took inspiration from Charlie and Lola and try to replicate the same movement and technique and it was the same technique I use for the other examples. All assets in this animation were all made by me where I use Procreate to draw the characters while the furniture such as the bed were modelled in 3D in Maya.

This particular project is my way of commemorating my love for the Disney characters designs. I've always loved designing clothes for characters and I thought that this method would be the most interesting way to showcase it. This piece is based on the Queen of Hearts from Alice In Wonderland.

The character design are drawn in Procreate by me and the background were modelled by me in Maya while the back image is made in Adobe Illustrator while I use After Effects to put it all together.
